Never do this if you want to speak English.

🧨Never do this if you want to speak English.

Who set the goal: “I have to learn 1,000 words in 2 weeks”?

Uh, my friends, this is the road to self-destruction.

Because the goal is, to put it mildly, strange. 1,000 words for the mind is too abstract, and 2 weeks is just unrealistic. With this aim, your brain will screw you up and will sabotage your studying. For example, your mind will start telling you that a  Google translator exists and you will be understood.

We will show how to set a goal for yourself so as not to waste your time and money, and start speaking English quickly.

- I want to understand what they say to me at the counter at the airport.

- I want to easily book a hotel by phone abroad.

- I want to have a conversation with a foreigner for 5 minutes.

You should set a specific goal for yourself, and not the abstract set of 100 words per month. And then, you will praise yourself for every step you take towards achieving those goals.

Why can't you just learn the language, and never tell yourself how stupid you are, since you weren't born bilingual right away? Confirmation of the results is important to our minds. Therefore, it is so difficult to lose weight, build up muscles, learn a language, and much more.

I want everything at once: in one month I will be fit and speak fluent English. But it's not a sprint, it's a marathon. Small steps over a long distance will take you further than a month-long forced marching. And at every step, we should praise ourselves! Do you want to be powerfully charged for a long-distance exciting race?
